AtmoCare Super-Forest
Still in the early stages of research, preliminary (backyard and greenhouse) tests show the possibility of deploying large-scale forests with optimized soil, ecosystem, and a choice of flora that can extract carbon up to six times the efficiency of a regular tree-planting effort.

A Super-Forest is more than planting trees. It is the rebuilding of a sustainable biodiverse ecosystem that captures up to 6 times more carbon than a simple tree-planting effort (2-3 times more than an already bio-diverse forest).

Botanists are already growing plants at almost three times the speed, 20% bigger, simply by caring for the soil quality and the ecosystem. However, most do it only on a small scale, in their personal gardens or small commercial spaces. The solutions are obvious, yet the costs are also much higher for providing this quality of care over millions of square meters at a time. This solution is not at all profitable but is the most viable in the long term to resolve the climate change crisis. We can deploy these super-forests with your contributions by removing the profit limitation.
First step
Before anything, we need to know, as precisely as possible, how much of every resource we need in the soil before, during and after deployment. These resources include:
Base organic matter
Phosphate
Potassium
Nitrogen
Trace minerals
Silicate powder
Mycorrhizal fungi
Saprophytic fungi
Pollinators (bees, butterflies, moths)
Decomposer insects
Soil Aerator insects/worms
Birds and bats (only future large deployments)
For each different biome, we must select a range of undergrowth plants and trees that are compatible with the type of soil (pH and composition, water availability). Optimally, 5 undergrowth and 5 trees will create a most biodiverse ecosystem.
The base data for all these selections already exist in the botanical world. Yet they were evaluated in function of the farming industry or botanical gardens. We will do 3 balance tests for optimal carbon capture, for quick short-term capture, and long-term sequestration.
Pilot ecosystem
The first full-ecosystem experiment will be done in a rented warehouse where we can control humidity, temperature, and light. We will do 3 test batches with the most educated, balanced resources at every step so we can bring precision to our project and spread the word. For testing purposes, we will use three undergrowth and three types of trees. What matters most in this pilot project is to demonstrate the efficiency of the soil and ecosystem building.
Super-Soil Experiment
2023-2024, Québec, Canada
Our first experiments led to flowers and plants growing even through the snow during the Canadian spring, defying the usual conditions and sprouting earlier than expected. Our Super-Soil is an advanced form of permaculture, creating an ideal, pampered environment for any plant to thrive. The results from our 2023-2024 trials demonstrate that this enriched soil will have similar effects in non-snowy biomes, enhancing plant growth beyond natural expectations. The next step is the creation of a mini Super-Forest, which is already underway in Denmark, set to begin in March 2025.
